Using CEREC®'s PrimeScan 3D intraoral scanner, Dr. Chan will create a digital impression without the uncomfortable traditional trays, enhancing patients' comfort. Then, he will design the restoration using advanced computer technology that can assess how the new crown will integrate with your bite and other teeth.
Using CAD/CAM technology, Dr. Chan can then create the final restoration right in his office using his in-office milling machine. Using advanced technology and a tooth-colored ceramic material that is durable and often stronger than restorations made in outside dental labs. Depending on the procedure, you may receive your dental restoration on the same day or the next day, instead of waiting one to two weeks for it to be made in a lab.
